”Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” (Psamls 1:1)

There is no joy greater than that of having done the right thing, even if those around you have not.
God knows what is in our hearts and minds. He loves us and cares about us so much that He takes an intimate invest in everything we do. May He never see us making bad decisions or following those who are obviously making bad choices.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what He occasionally sees. Christianity is available to everyone. It is a celebration to which everyone is invited. But not everyone chooses to make smart decisions. Sometimes it is so much easier to simply go along with the crowd.
This seems to take pressure off us and makes us feel better at the moment. Later, though, we realize what we have done and how we have pushed ourselves away from God.
The next time we are tempted to follow the crowd, it would be wise to remember the very first verse of Psalms. What a joy it is to do the right thing!
