Show it don't say it.

Children, you show love for others by truly helping them, and not merely by talking about it.

1 John 3:18

I am so happy that this is the verse for today. If you decided yesterday to come with me on the Journey of starting every day with Jesus, this is the main thing we need to do. And by doing this everything will change for the better in our life. I remember some years ago I was struggling with a sin and I couldn't get rid of it. Praying - falling - praying - falling - and so on, until I even stopped praying, as, I thought, I will definitely fall again. So I remember one evening when I made this simple prayer: "God, if you are the KING of the UNIVERSE, please help me to get rid of this. I know you have the power, so please do this for me. I will stop praying about it, as I am throwing it on You, and I promise that from now on I will start praying for everyone that I meet and show love like you have showed me." God saved me there and then from my sin and I have seen daily how He has been working in my heart since, getting me closer to Him.

I will guarantee you something today: If today we ask forgiveness of all our known sins and not known, and we make this promise that from now on, we will love and pray for everyone we meet, we will sense God's presence in our life. What does loving others mean? It means to show through our deeds that we care for them. Start praying even for the ones that hate you. It won't be easy but you will see miracles happen!
